Club Mission Statement

It is the endeavour of the United Cricket Club to provide an avenue for cricketers of all abilities to achieve their personal bests in a safe, structured environment. Combined with this is the importance of belonging, sharing, and having fun. Our focus is improvement of skills for player development.  Winning is a by-product of these factors.

United fields four teams in the Cricket Far North competition, one in each of the four grades. In season 2008/9 we finished a very close second in the club championship.

The dedication of senior club members, along with our policy of promoting youth, enlivens the club and is the backbone of our success. The alliance between United and its upcoming players in the Cairns Junior Cricket competition ensures a strong player base for the future.

United is fortunate to have dedicated sponsor support. We greatly appreciate this and make every effort to return business to or assist our sponsors whenever possible.
